Shooting Photos on the Arete d' Papillon - Chamonix

As my guiding trip in the Alps came to a close two weeks ago, my friend Matt Anderson - former guiding colleague turned Switzerland based photographer,  met me in Chamonix for two days of casual climbing and photographing. We were skunked on day one by bad weather, but on day two we got on the Arete d' Papillon, a classic alpine rock ridge which is easily accessible from Chamonix by taking the telepherique to the Plan de Aiguille. This is a terrific climb to knock of while visiting the area and makes a great warm up for longer routes in the area.
